THE MEEK

Understanding the word meek as used in scripture has a capital role to play if we will perfect ourselves unto the lord.

A meek person has found reason to be thankful always.

Persistently, the elite of the earth and its dying civilizations have done one conscious “normal thing” throughout its history and existence; training people and educating them towards seeking and executing justice to its people in the fashion fit for the earth. An earthly hero as such is defined after this inciting premise that [[he who seeks to put to rest all evil plaguing the earth; fixing the times and destinies of the presumptive “marginalized majority” is considered great in the eyes of men]]. However, bleak this definition may seem to them that will lose a limb or desire to be pardoned during those times of implementing justice, it doesn’t matter.

Earth’s justice always leaves someone or something dissatisfied and seeking retribution. Peace never has a chance to feature where men want to declare that they deserve more than others do.The masses will enthrone their own hero and push forth an agenda that will safeguard their thriving in the earth. Such was the kind of hero that the people of God awaited for when Jesus came. They got the complete opposite of the kind of hero earthlings will want to have. Sorry to disappoint someone, I start by saying that God does not care about justice in the earth.

Countless movies that entertain and mold the minds of even the most tender in our homes and some Christian churches still depict this erroneous definition of the kind of success which should characterize a true citizen of an eternal kingdom. They teach us to destroy our enemies; to love people who otherwise stand to fight the oppressed in view of helping themselves live comfortably in the earth. Only the kingdom of Satan operates in that fashion. The kingdom of God has forgiveness and mercy as important pillars of justice in the earth.

Perfection ministry defines its heroes differently;

We saw in a previous lecture why seeking justice in the earth disqualifies us towards receiving justification from God. Why? We saw that the person that seeks to cause justice to triumph in the earth must first of all be deserving of the things (no matter how small) that God has blessed him/her with. Nobody qualifies to be as much deserving of a single blessing of God. Therefore nobody has the divine license to seek to receive anything that is also desired of by another while we live on earth. It does not matter that you have the talent, the natural right or that such a thing was willed to you by your family. Another person would still qualify for the same favours you are now enjoying. If you will work righteousness, everybody should receive from your abundance of understanding (they too need mercy from you).

A hero therefore is a worker of righteousness; someone who will not hesitate to implement heavens judgement in the earth based on the premise of an inherent meekness obtained by understanding spiritual communication in its fullness.

WHO IS A MEEK PERSON

To be meek as many dictionaries try to explain, is neither about just being submissive nor has anything to do with being of a soft temper. I have learnt that people even annoy God when they are unnecessarily sober to spiritual truths. Each person is reminded about the necessity to be meek because when this life is all over, you certainly will not need to be convinced that all other people you had the pleasure to meet in your life time, were a wonderful gift from God. There is nothing else to take away on your dead bed.

Num 12:3(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

Meekness has nothing to do with a man’s temper. In fact a man who is never angry, cannot please God. The bible says that Moses was meek but he (Moses in a hot temper) did break the tablet containing the ten commandments as a result of Holy anger. Jesus our lord tells us plainly that he is meek (Matt 11:29) but also, in “Holy anger” he formed a whip and sent out the business men from his father’s house. [[There are many such people to pull out of the father’s house of today]]. Anger therefore is not about meekness.

Being meek is not just about being submissive either because there is a direction in submission. However, a submission to spiritual authority is in line with meekness; notice that it is not about submitting in disorder. A husband who submits to his wife’s dictates for example is not being meek. The word of God wants that the wife submits to the husband. Meaning that he has the full opportunity after all has been said and done to deliver the final vote in all things.

Many women today have abused the church and its foundational teachings by refusing to submit to their own husbands. They receive protection from the secular laws and brandish a fallible and unGodly hold on things. Husbands to such women should understand that accepting such a woman and submitting to her will save your shadow marriage in the earth (flesh marriage; they shall become one flesh; Gen 1:26) but ruin your spiritual marriage to the lord. When such a woman eventually enters the gates of hell, you will be accused of being the main enemy to her soul.

When I hear that a man of God split with his marital partner, my immediate thought is “wow the fire is big here”. People disagree often because one person generally sees deeper spiritual things and communicates more than the other. I do not mean that all married partners are like this. God reserves the ability to put us in diverse types of marriages in order to help us seek and find him with all that is within us.

Meekness does not also describe someone who will not talk forcefully or put a point through at all cost during a dispute of facts. It is not also about being docile when reciprocated by a group of opposing factions. Jesus in this line of thought was never compromising to the whole lot of people that differed in opinions to his overwhelming teaching. It is about something deeply engraved in a mans spirit (thinking system) about the true nature of observing and interpreting the earth, riches and fine pleasant things therein.

THE BLESSING OF MEEKNESS

Matt 5:1-12 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: 5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousnesssake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

The meek do not worry about justice. They train themselves never to feel cheated. They are always unequally yoked by the blessings they already received from God and remain thankful in little and great things.

Have you noticed that the meekest people in your group and society always seem to prosper a lot more. I mean those people who will not say a lot about what they possess or seem concerned that they get the biggest share. There is a blessing for people who will not appear to eager to be at the material headlines (Matt 5:5). A Christian will gain a lot more by being truly meek. Not announcing your givings nor your receiving. Quietly being thankful to the lord for all that is given and all that is received. There is no other virtue that will lift up a man than meekness. The meek are the best placed to work out righteousness and receive all the other blessings that come from the lord. Unless you are meek-hearted, all other things will be taken from you, even that little that you think you have.

See that the others are equally deserving for the good things of life. Give them their fair share and refuse to maintain what reasons should prompt your side to benefit more than others. That is meekness.

Matt 11:25-30 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 11:26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
